Does social SW really make people more social?

A thought came from the post below:

My observation was that it is odd that introverted geeks are laboring
long hours to create applications that make it easier to “meet people”.
What kind of self-respecting introvert wants to go around meeting
people? (Incidentally, the Skyhook talk also included a hilarious
example “use case” of an iPhone app that let you both call for a cab
and specify your destination, so (as Ted noted) you could get from
point A to B in a cab without ever having to speak to a person. Sold!)

Weeknumbers for iCal

clipped from forums.macrumors.com

I have (finally) updated all the different language versions of my week numbers iCal calendars. They should work from 2004 through 2016 now. (Is that enough? )

Norsk version
English version
Deutsche Version

Just click the link of the version you want to subscribe to. (If you already use it a simple refresh should be enough!)

Let me know if there’s any errors. Note that all weeks start on Mondays, this is not an error and I’m not going to change it…

Augmented reality Geisha on your desktop?

clipped from gamesalfresco.com

Want your own augmented reality Geisha?

Geisha Tokyo Entertainment Inc. announced a new augmented reality game. They call it Dennoh Figure ARis or Cyber Figure Alice (which only works in japanese thanks to the interchangeability of L and R in Japanese). Thanks Akki from Asiajin for bringing it to the western world. It is scheduled to hit Japan this fall.
